We call the people who clean for us Up specialists, because caring for a home well takes skill, precision and professional pride.

The title is also a promise: the person who comes to your home has been selected, trained, and takes responsibility for every part of their work.

Up specialists include UpClean's own team and staff of partner firms we select for work that needs specialist equipment or skills. Whoever comes to your home goes through the same checks, is trained to the Up Standard and wears the UpClean uniform, and UpClean remains directly responsible to you for quality and guarantees. Pest control is carried out by UpClean's own pest-control technicians. Fumigation is carried out by a licensed partner, named on the written treatment plan.

• We look for people who are calm, meticulous, discreet and eager to learn.
• Only those who meet the Up Standard are ever sent to your home.

• Up Standard training and a practical assessment before their first booking.
• Technique for each service and material: wood, stone, glass, fabric, leather and air-conditioning units.
• Workplace safety, correct use of products, and working in high-rise apartments.
• How to conduct themselves in a private home.
• Refresher training whenever the Up Standard is updated.

• Brown uniform with an orange logo and name badge; cap and shoe covers indoors.
• A mat under all tools, and never using your household items.
• Quiet, tidy work that doesn't disrupt your day.
• Never touching personal belongings or documents, and no photos outside the work area.
• Complete discretion about everything in your home.

Before each visit, you receive your specialist's name and photo. Their name also appears on your Up Report and thank-you card.

Up Home members are looked after by the same team, who learn your home's routines and preferences so you never have to repeat yourself.

Raising the value of people is one of the four ideas behind the name UpClean: the people who clean are trained, respected and fairly rewarded. Any compliments you share are passed directly to your specialist.
