Aircon cleaning prices by unit type
Each price covers one unit, including the outdoor unit where safely reachable, a gas-pressure reading and the Up Report, your photo record by WhatsApp or Zalo. Prices go by unit type, not brand; inverter units are cleaned the same way. For a multi-split system, tell us how many indoor units it has and we confirm the price first.
| Unit type | Fixed price and time |
|---|---|
| Wall-mounted, 1–1.5 HP | 250,000 VND per unit, about 45–60 minutes. The usual bedroom or study unit. |
| Wall-mounted, 2 HP and above | 300,000 VND per unit, about 45–60 minutes. Usually in the living room, with a longer indoor unit. |
| Ceiling cassette | 550,000 VND per unit, about 90–120 minutes, worked from a ladder with the water-collection bag directly below. |
| Floor-standing | 500,000 VND per unit. Time is confirmed when you book, depending on size and where the outdoor unit is. |
| Ducted, concealed in the ceiling | 700,000 VND per indoor unit. Time is confirmed once we have seen the ceiling access hatch and air vents. |

What is included, and what is not?
Routine aircon servicing at UpClean is this deep clean. Weak cooling, a smell or dripping usually comes from dust on the coil or a blocked drain and improves after cleaning; component or installation faults need a repair service. Anything outside the agreed scope needs your written approval. The price covers:
- Labour, tools, cleaning solutions, protective covers and the water-collection bag.
- Filters, indoor coil, blower wheel (the cylindrical fan inside), drip tray and condensate drain, and the outdoor unit where safely reachable.
- A gas-pressure reading, a test run and an outlet-air temperature reading, recorded in the Up Report.
- A 90-day warranty against leaks, unusual noise or weaker cooling caused by the cleaning.
- Not included: gas top-up
- Only when the reading shows the unit is low, quoted first and done only if you agree: R32 or R410A for units up to 2 HP from 250,000 VND; cassette, floor-standing and other gas types are quoted after measuring.
- Not included: repairs and parts
- No repairs to control boards, compressors, fan motors or sensors, and no error-code work. Anything unusual is noted in the Up Report.
- Not included: access equipment
- If the outdoor unit is beyond safe reach, we explain the options first and go ahead only with your approval.
- Outside the service: removal and relocation
- Taking a unit down, refitting it or moving it is not part of cleaning.
- Aircon leaking water or not cooling
- What you can check yourself before you call anyone.
- Aircon cleaning in Vietnam: how often and what it costs
- The longer guide, including washing the filter safely.
How often should an aircon be cleaned in Vietnam?
Suggestions for Ho Chi Minh City's hot, humid climate; we remind you when the next clean is due. Between visits you can wash the filter yourself once the unit is off at the circuit breaker, but never spray water or cleaning fluid onto the coil or control board, remove the blower wheel, or climb over a balcony railing to reach the outdoor unit.
| Room and use | Suggested interval |
|---|---|
| Bedroom with the aircon on all night | About every 3 months. |
| Living room or study, used by day | Every 3–4 months; sooner if the living room opens onto the kitchen. |
| Home office or young child's room | About every 3 months, washing the filter yourself in between. |
| Guest room or rarely used room | Every 6 months, and before guests come to stay. |
| Apartment you rent out | Before each new tenant; every 3–4 months while occupied. |
| Young children, older relatives, pets or allergies | A shorter interval than those above. |
| Newly handed-over or renovated home | As soon as building work ends; construction dust settles on the filter and coil quickly. |
What does the 90-day warranty cover?
The warranty runs 90 days from the visit, for each unit cleaned, and covers problems caused by the cleaning. The Up Report, with before-and-after photos, the gas reading and technical notes, is the shared record. If something seems wrong, message us on WhatsApp or Zalo at 0773 521 104 with a photo or short video; we check and put it right free of charge when the cause lies in the cleaning.
| Situation | Covered? |
|---|---|
| Water dripping after the clean | Covered, for example a drip tray not seated properly or a drain not fully cleared. |
| A new noise after the clean | Covered where it relates to parts removed and refitted, such as the front panel or blower wheel. |
| Weaker cooling after the clean | Covered where the cleaning caused it, for example a filter refitted out of position. |
| Component faults | Not covered: control board, compressor, fan motor or sensor. We note the signs for a repair service. |
| Low gas or a gas leak | Not covered; the reading in the Up Report at the time of cleaning is the reference point. |
| Installation faults | Not covered: faults present before the cleaning, such as a drain pipe at the wrong slope, or a unit another company has worked on since. |
